Some eggs are easy to get, while others require special events or trading. The egg system is the main way to get pets in Grow a Garden. You can buy most eggs from the Pet Eggs Shop, which refreshes every 30 minutes with different options. The rarer the egg, the better pets you’ll get!
How to Get Grow a Garden Eggs
There are several ways to collect Grow a Garden eggs, each with different costs and requirements. You can also improve your garden’s output with special gears.
Pet Eggs Shop
The easiest way to get most eggs. The shop refreshes every 30 minutes with random eggs based on stock chances.
Event Participation
Special events like Summer Harvest give exclusive eggs as rewards.
Currency Exchange
Some eggs require special currencies like Honey or Summer Coins instead of Sheckles.
Crafting System
Advanced players can craft rare eggs like the Anti Bee Egg using specific recipes.
NPC Trading

Dinosaur Egg: The Newest Addition
The Dinosaur Egg is the most exciting addition to the egg system, introduced in the Prehistoric update on July 5, 2025! Unlike other eggs, you can’t buy the Dinosaur Egg with Sheckles or Robux.
Special Features:
- Cannot be purchased with Sheckles or Robux.
- Only yields Legendary+ pets.
- Obtained exclusively through trading.
- Has a 4 hour 10 minute hatch time.
How to Get Dinosaur Eggs: Trade any pet with Graham at the Dinosaur Egg DNA Station. The process takes 1 hour and gives you 1-4 Dinosaur Eggs (rarer pets increase your chances of getting more eggs or even a pet directly!).
Dinosaur Egg Pets and Chances: Raptor (35%), Triceratops (32.5%), Stegosaurus (28%), Pterodactyl (3%), Brontosaurus (1%), T-Rex (0.5%).
